Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our EDC cancellation kits, installation, compatibility, and support.

How difficult is the installation process?

Our EDC kits are designed for plug-and-play installation with no special tools required. Most customers with basic mechanical knowledge can complete the installation in 25-30 minutes.

No wire cutting, soldering, or programming is needed - simply connect the OEM-style plugs to your vehicle's suspension connectors.

Do I need professional installation?

Professional installation is not required - 95% of our customers install the kit themselves successfully. However, if you're uncomfortable working on your vehicle, any qualified mechanic or tuning shop can install it in under 30 minutes.

Will this work with my aftermarket suspension?

Yes! Our EDC kits are fully compatible with all major aftermarket suspension brands including:

  • KW Suspensions (V1, V2, V3, Clubsport)
  • BC Racing (BR, RM, DS Series)
  • Ohlins (Road & Track, TTX)
  • Bilstein (B16, B14, Clubsport)
  • H&R (VTF, RSS)
  • AST Suspension

If your suspension brand isn't listed, contact us - we've tested compatibility with over 50 suspension manufacturers.

Is the kit vehicle-specific or universal?

Our kits are 100% vehicle-specific, not universal. We design each kit specifically for your vehicle's make, model, year, and factory suspension type (EDC, PASM, Magnetic Ride, AMG Ride Control).

This vehicle-specific design ensures perfect fitment, plug-and-play installation, and 100% error code elimination - something universal kits cannot guarantee.

What does the 1-year warranty cover?

Our 1-year manufacturer warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Electronic component failures under normal use
  • Waterproofing issues (IP67 rating)
  • Connector and wiring failures
  • Error code recurrence (installation issues excluded)

The warranty does not cover physical damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse. We offer free replacement for warranty-covered issues with no labor costs.

What kind of technical support do you offer?

We provide comprehensive technical support including:

  • 24/7 email support (response within 8 hours)

Our technical team consists of automotive electronics specialists with 10+ years of experience in suspension systems.

How does the EDC kit eliminate error codes?

Our EDC kits use advanced CAN bus emulation technology that communicates directly with your vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit). The kit:

  • Replicates the factory EDC/PASM/Magnetic Ride sensor signals
  • Provides constant, valid data to the vehicle's computer
  • Prevents fault detection by the onboard diagnostic system
  • Maintains normal operation of other vehicle systems (ESP, ABS, etc.)

Unlike resistor-based universal kits that only mask errors temporarily, our active emulation provides permanent error code elimination.

Will this affect my vehicle's safety systems?

No. Our EDC kits are designed to maintain full functionality of all vehicle safety systems including:

  • Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
  • Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
  • Traction Control (TC)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Collision Avoidance Systems

The kit only communicates with the suspension control module and does not interfere with any other vehicle systems.

Will this void my vehicle's warranty?

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (US) and similar consumer protection laws worldwide, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void your entire warranty simply for installing an aftermarket part.

Our plug-and-play design requires no permanent modifications to your vehicle - the kit can be easily removed without leaving any traces.
